Toddler Activities & Crafts : Toddler Crafts: Paper Plate Flowers

Hi! My name is Stacy. Today I am going to
show you how to make a paper plate flower. The materials you will need are a paper plate,
stapler or glue, pen or pencil, scissors, green construction paper, red construction
paper and yellow. First thing you will do is you will need to trace your child’s hand
on the paper. I am going to start with the green. I have two pieces; I am just going
to fold it into half. You might need more paper with your child because they have a
smaller hand. After you trace it, you will cut it out. Once you have cut out your child’s
hand, you will need to glue them or staple them on the outer side of your plates. After
you stapled or glued all those hands then you will need to trace more on the red and
then cut them out. Then you will staple your red ones in the middle and glue and it we
will just overlap. The last thing you will do is cut out of a circle in your yellow paper
to put in the middle of your flower so there is my circle and glue it or just staple it
and now you have made a paper plate flower.
