This ORDINARY Tool is better than Tombow MONO zero eraser

So here we have this ordinary whitener and the manufacturing company is PICASSO and its a metal tip whitener which costs about 1.5 or 2 dollars and i’ll compare this whitener with this Tombow MONO Zero Eraser which costs about $21 in pakistan its a 2.3mm round tip mono eraser and i’ll test both the tools on a darker shade using this 7B pencil So lets make 6 consecutive shades here we’ll test the whitener on these left three shades and the mono eraser on the right side i’m gonna keep the darkness same for all the shades So First o all i’m gonna show you the Dot Technique I know its the obvious thing
that a whitener can make dots But i just wanted to show
you where you can use these dots SO the technique for making fine & small dots is to clean your whitener on a rough page and start hitting the page
lightly with the tip of whitener Always remember to keep
the whitener in vertical position I recently used these type
of dot in the hyperrelistic drawing of an eye you can also watch this video later and the 2nd technique
is to make random texture with whitener the overall process is same, you just
have to move the tip around to make different shapes i used this technique is the eyes of this drawing Now the third one is making a gradient with whitener you can make whatever shape you want and you can easily shade it with a brush or stump you can even add pencil shades on whitener highlight. Now lets compare these
whitener highlights with a MONO eraser As you can see i am unable to
add extra white dots with this eraser and i can even add these textures with this eraser and as you can see the shape of the eraser is ruined because of these darker shades and also i am unable to add
a perfect gradient with this Mono eraser i’m not asking you to throw away your erasers Mono is awesome in its own way! but i think an ordinary whitener
works better in case of highlights Another plus point of using a whitener is that you can remove
the highlights easily and whenever you want just grab a sharp metal piece like a knife or something and you can peel the highlghts with a single stroke or you can even add a texture inside a highlight or even fill it with a pencil So that’s all for Now ! if you are new to my channel i would love to have you subscribed because i upload new content every wednesday and saturday So, Thank you so much for watching! & Have a nice Day !
