Origami Projects : Origami Butterfly String

Origami Projects : Origami Butterfly String

In this project I will show you how to make
a string of origami. For this project, you will need four various sizes of models. For
this I used a six inch square, a four inch square, a three inch square, and a two inch
square. And I made butterflies out of these. And for these, I also glued some of the folds
together, so that the origami will last. You will also need fishing line. A decorative
bead, a pretty large size. I call this a weight bead, because it helps my string to drape
down nicely. You also need some other kinds of decorative beads. I use stone chips and
wooden beads. You also need what is called crimp beads. They are little metallic beads
that can be crimped together by a plier. You will also need needle-nose pliers, round-nose
pliers, and a clipper, and needles. You will need a needle. The first thing you will do,
is take your butterfly and pierce a hole, that your string can go through. And you can
have fun with the butterfly, because you can pierce the hole anywhere on the model, and
they will drape down in a different way. Just keep in mind that if you pierce a hole on
the edge of the wing, it will drape down this way. If a, if you pierce a hole towards the
center of the model, it will fly pretty much on an even level. So, take all your models
and pierce a hole through each. This one I will pierce through here. So, all of your
models have a hole through which you can string. Take your string, lightweight, lightweight
fishing line, and cut about three feet in length.
