new tires that don’t have all that debris. If it’s easier to restart.

it in high gear he could hook it around the shifter and it will hold it in. You can only

locker roomed into the playoffs.>>You know coming to Bristol it’s always
intimidating and scary because you know anything can happen to you. Doesn’t have to be your
fault. Could get caught in a wreck or tore up but when you have a win early in the season
you can racele Bristol aggressively. That’s what I’m going to do tomorrow.
>>Speaking of aggressive. Kevin Harvick getting after Aric almirola.
>>This is what we see from Harvick he’s so good understanding his tires and what the
car needs and appears he’s really going strong.>>Surprised to see Kevin Harvick starting
sixth in this heat. He got it all wrong in qualifying. Crew chief just wanted to go for
pole. Got the car way too loose. [1:29:51 PM] Right now that track is starting to come up
high.>>Those junior motor sports cars last week
at Texas had what it took on the long run. I think that’s something you’re going to have
to have in the main a little bit later today. You see J.J. Yeley headsing to pit row. Going
to lose some laps but everybody goes back to level playing field. Harvick able to get
around almirola.>>Harvick wasn’t clear he just took that
spot. You just kind of lean on a guy and say hey look if you don’t let me in we’re both
going to wreck and Aric saw that and said all right let’s get to the main.
>>How long does it take to get over it for cutting you off. Do you have to forget it
or does it stick with you.>>I think it’s different for every driver.
For me it depends on the situation. Lap or two early, Aric got loose and that’s how Kevin
got to him. You tend to be more forgiving you if it is lap traffic, you get mad.
>>You took something from me you didn’t deserve and I’m going to get it back. That seems to
be the sentiment.>>Your blood pressure spikes how many times
would you say on 500 laps.>>It your car is really fast it doesn’t spike
at all. I see 22 knowing he is faster than the 3. He is trying to work different grooves.
He has a dime on in the corner. Comes down the banking on the exit, especially on 3 and
4, trying to get the run, keep the pressure on Ty and maybe force a mistake.
>>On a short track we talk about the balance of patient especially and aggression you push

if he decides to use that slide job like the next spot like with almirola.
>>And Harvick is a perfect example, his car has great long run speed. Means he needs to
get these spots right now in this heat. He won’t have a chance to do it in the main.
He’ll have a couple long runs in the main but takes him some time for the long run’
to come in. He’s really fast. He’s got to get these spots right now. Bably not going
to get them in this race.>>Nobody’s going to get it in the top. Kevin’scaught
traffic. We’ll see how versatile that set up is, if he’s able to go to the bottom and
make that move.>>He’s not the only one caught up in traffic.
Look at Austin Dillon in front. Ty in second his younger brother. Joey Logano is there.
You could almost throw a blanket over those top five. Daniel Suarez and Harvick closing
in as well. Great racing as we pass half way in our second heat at Bristol.
>>Only one second separates the top five. That’s really close racing with tracks like
Bristol top speed is about 140 miles an hour.>>Where you finish this heat is where you
line up in the main. Drivers in heat two will make up the outside lane later on today. [1:34:05 PM] Through the traffic Austin Dillon able to
pull away from his younger brother just a bet.
>>Just his younger brother by a bit and able to pull away by a bit. What a great run for
the dillons up front. We saw the speed Austin needed to win late at California. Ty has had
a bit of a trouble. Had a tire problem in Texas. Good to see the speed coming to Bristol
as well.>>Harvick is right there, god, he’s fast.
He’s trying to catch any little break he can to get by these guys. Haven’t caught one yet.
He’s got to keep the pressure on. He’s only got 14 laps.

here at Bristol.>>He wants Suarez to know that, if you make
mistakes I’m going to wreck you zpl and if you wreck in a heat you can’t go to a back
up. There’s only 20 minutes between the second heat and the main. So if you get in trouble

race here. Running high in the middle and then down off. Side ways there that’s what
Suarez is doing right now to hold off Harvick.>>Down to 11 laps to go in our second heat
race. Opening one of the day went to Erik Jones. Austin Dillon started on pole has LED
every lap in heat 2. Watch this car hop out a bit. [1:36:05 PM]>>They’re going to hop out aren’t they.

>>That’s what I said at the top of the show, go like hell.
>>I said this, we talk about patience and aggression. I think we will go to a whole
new level when the green flag goes to the air in the main. These guys have been fairly
tame for Bristol, right or wrong.>>It’s not over yet.
>>I agree 100%. Also we have some of the best drivers in the world going to be able
to work on their cars and have a conversation with their crew chief and make adjustments
to make these cars faster yet.>>Suarez is driven back up to the bumper
of Logano. Maybe he wants to go on the offense. He’s been playing defense for about 40 laps
see if he goes on offense.>>See 22 slipping up a little bit. Over those
bumps is really difficult. Especially as car falls you off the car slips and slides around.
>>You see off turn two there’s a big patch they put off turn two. Can you feel that.
>>Yeah just like on the freeway you driech over a patch and there’s a bump, same here
except you’re 140 miles an hour and it’s going to slip.
>>And someone’s pushing you. [1:38:19 PM] Yeah.
