Monarch Butterfly Nail Art Tutorial (for Deborah Milano Beauty Club)

hi youtubes! welcome to a new video for
to the Deborah Milano Beauty Club and today we’re going to make the monarch
butterfly and for those of you who don’t know it’s the pretty orange butterfly
with the black outline and the white dots and we’re going to recreate this by
using a sponge a nail art brush and a dotting tool first we’re going to start
by applying the base color with 01 French manicure so you don’t have to use the white base
it’s optional however I do recommend it because if you use a nail art form where
you use thin layers you really notice that if you use a white base first you
really make the colors pop apply and blend Salmon Bay and Hawaiian party on a makeup brush start dabbing the polish on your nail
don’t press too hard and make sure that you cover your whole nail I am using
three layers and in between the layers I wait a couple minutes so the previous
layer can dry this time I didn’t use sticky tape
around my nails so you can see the difference how messy it is now I have to
do cleanup with a q-tip and nail polish remover for the polish around my nail for the other side I’m using my cleanup brush as you can see it takes much
longer now use your nail art brush and start making the black lines with total
black I always make a thin outline first and
when I’m satisfied I’m making the lines a bit thicker and sharper now I’m going to make the end of my nail
black the design looks a bit weird because there’s so much light now but
the white dots will help it make look better you’ll see when the black polish is dry use French
manicure and your dotting tool to make the white dots and of course the best part is adding
the top coat now all you have to do is let everything
dry and enjoy your nails so I hope you like this tutorial if you have questions
let me know and see you next time bye
