Blood Splatter Halloween Nail Art Tutorial

Blood Splatter Halloween Nail Art Tutorial

Hey everybody! In this video I am showing you how to create
this blood splatter nail art This is seriously one of the easiest nail
art designs that you can create and I’m sure you’ve seen it a million other places, but
I thought I would share it with you anyway because I do recreate this design pretty frequently
around Halloween time. Start by painting your nails with a base color.
You can use whatever color that you want. I usually use a white or an off white color. This is really messy so if you want to cover
your cuticles with some tape or liquid latex or elmers glue even though I don’t like using
that, you can go ahead and do that. Then you will need a red polish. You can use
whatever red you have. It doesn’t have to be a specific color. You can do this technique two different ways.
The way I like to do it is I put a blob of the nail polish down onto, like a paper plate
or a piece of paper. This is just a paper plate that I use to mix acrylic paint and
nail polish colors on. Then you will need a drinking straw. I usually
use one that’s a lot smaller than this, about half the size. This is the only size drinking
straw that we had in the house so I kinda had to make it work, but take it and dip it
into the little blob of nail polish so it covers the end of the straw. Then blow through the opposite end of the
straw and it will splatter the paint over your nails. And then repeat that as many times as you
need to. You can also take the nail polish brush and brush it directly across the end
of the straw. For some reason I can never get that to work, so that’s why always do
the blob on a piece of paper and then dip it into it. Regardless of which technique
you’re using, you need to make sure the nail polish is covering the end of the straw. If
it’s just on the edges there’s gonna be nothing there to blow across to go onto your nails.
And if you don’t like getting spit all over yourself, you might want to switch out the
straw every once in a while because the more you use the straw, the more the condensation
from your breath is going to build up inside of it and it will start coming out the end
of the straw and going all over your fingers… so…. it’s mostly just condensation from
your breath, but some people don’t like that. And then if you want you can apply top coat.
I personally don’t because I like the texture that the splatter gives to the nail art design,
but if you want to use top coat, go right ahead. No one’s stoppin’ ya. I hope you guys
enjoyed this really basic nail art design and video. If you did, don’t forget to give
it a thumbs up. Also, if you are new to my channel and would like to see videos from
